Welcome!

Late-summer afternoon thunderstorms roll through my valley these days. This morning, the first of the spotted fawns cautiously sniffed blue delphinium spires that I coated in DeerOff last week. One currant plant wears a skirt of magenta leaves, signaling the end of this glorious season. (I am choosing to ignore this harbinger of frigid doom.)

Our summers are brief but beautiful. I am thankful to live on this mountaintop. It’s the perfect environment in which to heal from the loss of my parents in December and April. The view from my office, cantilevered over a high mountain valley, inspires worship. And offers the solitude to create and write.

Two manuscripts are safely in the hands of multiple major publishing houses that requested them. I’ve outlined two more stories. Once I receive direction from a publisher, I’ll research and write. September will find me returning to weekly blogs and monthly newsletters, activities replaced by elder- and end-of-life care.

I’m glad you’re here. Thanks for stopping by!

“Suspense/thriller fans will be satisfied with the novel and, indeed, the series. Exceptionally developed characters, vividly described locales, pedal-to-the-metal pacing, and nonstop action and adventure--all powered by a subtle spiritual undertone--make this a page-turner of the highest order. Like 007 breaking The Da Vinci Code.”
